SO. FUCKING. AWESOME.

Ams overcome a 4-0 deficit in the 1st to make that game their bitch and win 5-4 over the T-birds in a shootout.

FUCK. YES.

My team is better than your team. Yeah, that's a douche comment to make, but it's true. As "Dave" would say,

YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID.

GO AMS!!

Sunday, April 12, 2009

This is my obligatory sappy, emotastic, end-of-season post.

I haven't updated this in a while, but nobody cares because nobody reads it so no loss there. Well, okay, I lied. One person does. WOOHOO! :D

I believe I left off with our April 4th win against Kelowna on home ice... it was sweet. Up 2-0 in the series; the games were intense. But, 8 days have passed since and a lot happened.

April 7th @ Kelowna- L
April 8th @ Kelowna- L
April 10th @ home- L

and tonight...

April 12th @ Kelowna- L. Americans eliminated, Kelowna goes on. :(

Too many injuries, too many guys missing, too much of everything. But, lets not make any excuses.

The last game for Procyshen, Reese, Fadden, and Pickard (amongst other players who may not be coming back... *sobs*). I was only listening to the game, but I was told by people who were watching that Chet was crying after coach pulled him out to put Martyniuk in the net. Talk about heartbreaking.

So, I'm gonna deliver with this whole emotastic blog deal... and here it goes:

First off- Taylor Procyshen. Not only a great player, but an awesome guy in general. Total inspiration. Great captain. I couldn't have asked for a better guy to lead this team.

Jason Reese- Helloooo, difference maker! He did so much for the team. Love watching him play. Brought a lot of experience to the team and knowing that he started out here as a Jr. AM is pretty awesome. Reese came full circle here and I'm so glad to have been able to witness it!

Mitch Fadden- Our ("Dave"'s) little (big) redheaded stallion. You have no idea how thankful I am we got this guy during that midseason trade business. Behbeh really did "get 'er done, eh." Insane. Another difference maker, fo' sho.

Chet Pickard- Whatta man, whatta man. Great goalie. I can't imagine what we would have done without him! He had a great career here in Tri. I'm so stoked to see him go on to the next level. We'll most definitely miss this one.

This was the first season I was able to really get into because I lived close enough to go to the games (I've followed the AMS for years though) and whatnot. This team has a lot of heart and a lot of talent. The n00bs like Behbeh Yuen, Shinny FTW4EVER, and Messier (those are just a few) give me a great feeling about next season. I'm fucking jacked about next season! And with our 19-year-olds, who knows? McColm, Toll, Lazo, Stoklasa, Plouffe... Personally, if I had it my way, we wouldn't lose any of 'em, but the Dub says "fuck off, you can only have 3." Ugh. :(

*So, hockey behbehs... I know none of you will ever read this, but it makes me feel better to write this all out... It was a great season. No lie. We are sooo proud of you guys! You guys did fantastic and it was awesome to be able to witness it. So here's to next year: whether you'll be back here in TC, playing with another team in the Dub, in the AHL, in the NHL, in another league I didn't mention, or just done and moving on to the next phase of your life.* You guys deserve all the cuppies and cookies in the world!

And Hockee Frendz, I'm so thankful to have met you all!! You made this season even better! I had a blast and laughed harder with you all than I have with other people. We can't let the end of the season be the end of us hanging out! :) Love you all!!!! ♥♥

In other awesomeness, the NHL ploffs are coming up! So my hockey obsession won't be too starved after tonight. :) And my browser is decked out in a Montreal Canadiens theme. 'Cause I'm fucking fabulous like that. haha

Things in list form.

1. PETR MOTHERFUCKIN' STOKLASA IS BAAAACK!!!!!!!! Need I say more?!

2. Where does the league find these refs? Seriously. They suck harder than my job on 4th and Lewis (jk! jk! Only if you know what I'm talkin' 'bout...) and I think they might need strong prescriptive lenses. Blind as fucking bats.

3. Um, dear Kelowna. I mean, Spokanistan. Er, I mean, Kelowna. I mean, FUCK. Yeah, Kelowna; that's it. Yeah, you goons are all the same. Fuck off.

4. Why must the idiots only come out to the ploff games? Seriously, fuck off. You can drink beer and yell stupid shit in the comfort/seculsion of your own little caves.

5. Mitch McColm needs to figure out this crotchal region dilemma he's got going on. I'm thinking he needs bigger shorts.

BTW, we won (barely) 4-3. We have dudes hurtin' and it was a mess out there. I was stressin'.

Good job, boys! You fought hard. Bring it again tomorrow night. And the next game. And the game after that. And maybe the game after that. We heart you! You deserve cuppies and cookies.

Oh, and Colin Bowman can make a happy little home in my pants. I'm kind of a traitorous whore like that.

Dear Friday, Hurry the hell up.

*This blog entry is a conglomeration of other blog drafts I had from the past four days. Bear with me.

FRIDAY CANNOT GET HERE FAST ENOUGH.

First game of the second round against Kelowna for my behbehs! Soooooo excited! It's gonna be a guaranteed good time. So you should come out and support the behbehs. :)

First off, I just wanna say I ♥ this team. Like mega♥ them. Agreeing with everyone else- the boys have been playing AMAZING lately. They've finally found a groove and it's working. With all the mothereffin' injuries the past few months, they were constantly forced to change things up and they weren't able to find the chemistry they needed and have it stick. But now, we've got most of our men back, with the exception of the Stoklasa, Plouffer, and Dimples trio, and we can finally achieve some sort of equilibrium. Of course, I'm definitely NOT saying we don't miss the Stoky-Fluffy-Dimples bunch (in terms of playing or just in general)... 'cause I know I do and I'm pretty sure you and your mom do, too. They need to eat healing cuppies and get extra hugs so they get better faster and play again. We miss them. We need them. Get better soon, behbehs!!

Anyway, the boys have been playing with everything they've got because, to be honest, Everett was one helluva team to play and they definitely made us work for our wins. I love it. It's good for the guys. Bad for me 'cause I nearly had a heart attack at some of those games, but we don't care about that. I ♥ this team.

Made cookies today (note: technically yesterday). Almond butter sugar cookies, recipe courtesy of "Dave Schultz". Awesome cookies, my dear friends. I may or may not have pics, though. I decorated some of them, but stopped 'cause my hand hurt. I'm kind of a wuss. But I used the fancyschmancy decorating tips with the frosting and schtuff. It's pretty sweet. I'll try to get more done tonight and take pics. :)

Friend texted me. "Come to Portland with me today." WTF. Um, sure, I'd love to go to Portland (haven't been there in FOREVER), but NOW?? Like, this right-this-second? The weather sucks! I've got work tomorrow! And the morning after that! Gah. Srsly? Are you people out of your minds? Maybe it's 'cause they all live at home and need to get away from mom and dad. I dunno. My reasons for not going are legit, so they can suck it.

Have you noticed I haven't dropped one f-bomb, s-bomb, a-bomb, or any-bomb throughout this whole entry???!!! Or at least I'm sure I didn't. I wanted to see if I could do one whole post without swearing like a sailor that just killed his favorite whore. I think I succeeded. Yay!

A night full of win.

My hockey team totally ate their Wheaties this morning! No joke.

6-1 Ams!

Right off the bat, one of my potential Hockey Husbands (seriously, I'm not a Hockey Husband whore, I just love my team), Mitch McColm, scored a goal about halfway through the first period. There is a reason why I write his name all over my notebook during class (I don't really, but you get my point)! It was sweet! I may have squealed like a little schoolgirl.

Original Hockey Husband also scored (not with me) in the third period. HOT. He is full of win and hot.

And you know what else totally kicks ass? The Messier-Shinny-Hot Lips combination. For real, pumpkins. That little trio of adorableness produced two goals. *le sigh* I was swoonin' like a 10-year-old front row at a New Kids On the Block concert. LA Gear high tops, slouch socks and all.

Cap'n Pro. We've been wondering where you've been for a while. A bunch of us hockee frendz agreed you were due. And baby, your ears musta been burning 'cause you had a goal AND an assist for the night.

Others who made me wanna dance in my seat:

Fadden with three assists!

Cap'n Pro and his "Go Pro MDA Challenge" and the shitload of money him and his compadres raised (AWESOME!!)

Behbeh Am Zach Yuen- I am SOOOOO STOKED about him! Cannot wait to see what happens next with this kid!

Heemskerk calling it a day

Chetter and his awesomeness, Messier getting FIRST STAR honors for the night (gooooo bbi goooo!!)

Others who made me wanna get my shank on:

Loud-mouthed asshole in section M- STFU. Quit banging on the glass. Quit yelling out "Dailey/Ellington, YOU SUUUUCK!!!" You lack sooo much class; go cheer on the Queefs or something because we don't need classless idiots like you at our games "cheering" on our team.

Father of the Year in the seats next to us- Your kid is cute, but holy hell, sit his ass down. It was annoying trying to dodge you son's head. And it was annoying listening to you "discipline" your son. Maybe if you put as much effort into your parenting as you do spiking your hair (I mean, really? Lay off the gel, dude.) you wouldn't have had to showcase your skills in douchebaggery. YOU, my dear, are a "nobody." Fuck off and get a babysitter next time. kthxbai

Sooooo...

BRING ON KELOWNA! Get 'em, boys. Keep working hard and play with everything you've got.

I ♥ my team and my hockee frendz!

Gizzle dizzle! (Snoop Speak for "Game day")

It's game day. Boys can seal the deal tonight. The only thing keeping Everett afloat is that brick wall Heemskerk.

Dimples is hurt, too. :( Taken out on a stretcher and everything. Poor behbeh! Total bummer. I'm hoping it's nothing major (I know they were just taking precautions with the stretcher and all). Get well soon, Dimples! Hate seeing ya come back for a few games and then forced to sit out 'cause of injury. Cookies, cupcakes, hugs, kisses, and "Dave Schultz's" healing waffles for you, behbeh. But maybe I'll get to see you in a suit...?

Family is in town, so I gotta go get ready to see them.

Go AMS!

5 Alarm Burger? Bitch, puh-leese.

Ams began their playoff series with the good ol' Everett Silvertips the other night (Friday). In case we're not up-to-speed here, I chug/bathe in the Haterade when it comes to this team; just like I do with Spokanistan. They can pretty much fuck off.

ANYWAAAAAAY.

Friday night (6-5 Ams):

I don't think I've heard the glass and all that shizz rattle and bang around THAT hard in a LONG time. Very physical. Dimples still suspended. But the best thing about this game??

CHETTERS IS BACK!!!!

That's right, beesh, behbeh is BACK! I just wanted to hug him and shower him with cookies and cuppies and rainbows and confetti and Lisa Frank stickers.

Downside to this celebration is defense thought they were in fucking Cancun (or some other terribly overrated vacay spot) on Spring Break or some shit. Um, harro??? You're in Kennewick and you have a game to play. :)

I don't wanna get into too much detail because I hate long ass posts (don't wanna bore anyone...), BUUUUT the refs sucked massive amounts of ass (Hanson, I'm talkin' 'bout you) and we ended up being 5-5. At the end of the 3rd period. And you know what that means.

OVERTIME!!

So I'm thisclose to having a heart attack, but then someone saves my life.

It wasn't one of my two Hockey Hubbies (mouth-to-mouth plz&thnku).

No, my dear friends, we have ANOTHER player to add to the Hockey Hubby roster (official roster conveniently located to the right of the text).

Justin motherfucking Feser busts out a Feser Laser and scores the game winner and prevents a heart attack!!!

I pretty much heart this boy. ♥♥♥

Kruise and Adam also 3-star winners as well.

*swoon*

Uncool shit of the night: Shitty reffing, Heemskerk NOT being a sieve, getting cat-called in the parking lot while walking to my car and being asked if I wanted to go get drunk.

......................................................................

Saturday night (3-2 Everett):

First off- Dimples is back!! Oh, welcome back, babycakes.

Boys looking better than last night (hallelujah)! It's just that fucking HEEMSKERK! Holy hell, he needs to open up that five-hole.

REFS SUCKING HARDER THAN EVER TONIGHT. Fuck me running sideways. I'm pretty sure the refs are listed on the Everett roster. Could not make a decent call to save their balls. So many potential penalties just flatout IGNORED. Riley looked pretty good out there tonight, too. He's been playing a lot better lately! WOOHOO! Shinny, what can I say? Working his ass off just like every game. Overall, boys played better tonight than last night. I mean, 47 shots-on-goal. BUT, we still lost.

I can't imagine how frusterated/pissed off the entire team felt. Just sitting my happy ass in the crowd was frustrating, but they had a whole different level of frustration to deal with.

Not gonna say much more about this game. Too pissed off. I flipped off the refs one too many times (my bad)... BRING ON WEDNESDAY!

Uncool shit of the night: BEYOND-PATHETIC REFS, Everett players just looking to start shit, Heemskerk NOT being a sieve again, "5 Alarm Burger" being a .5 Alarm Burger.

On a high note: Hockee frendz FTW!! I love you all!

Oh yes.

Eat it, Tokarski. :)

And can I get a "hellz yes" for Pro?

The '09 Western Confrence All-Star Teams/Finalists

Clicky-clicky.

Tuesday, March 17, 2009

I've never taken off my clothes that fast.

Spokanistan decided they'd grace us with their food-poisoned, classless, douchey presence tonight.

2-1 final Spokanistan. Thank God this game didn't mean squat.

I can't really give too many details of the game because I wasn't there for 90% of the game. I had a performance tonight, but I ended up bailing while waiting to get on stage. I know, that sounds pretty lame, but I was gonna have to lip synch the ENTIRE performance because my singing voice is shot. I have about a 4 note range and it sounds like SHIT. Besides, they have PLENTY of altos; they wouldn't miss me. And my stomach was feeling all sorts of vomitty unawesomeness, so I was outtie. I was planning on staying the entire time and skipping the game, but I figured, "fuck it. Why waste space and not contribute to the sound when I can be at the game or something?" BTW, I've never skipped out on a performance EVER, so cut me some slack kthxbai.

Anywaaaay.

I just wanna know why Tokarski wasn't playing. We needed a sieve out there.

And my effin' Hockey Hubby #1 (I have to number my Hockey Hubby now because there is a second one) STARTED tonight. FUCK ME RUNNING SIDEWAYS, I MISSED IT. I missed his goal on Friday, and now I missed him starting. Seriously, doubleyouteeEFF.

Oh, and Mitch the Bitch Wahl showboating after he got the last goal... I wanted to punch him in his non-existant nuts. And I wanted to punch Jared Spoogon (or whatever his name is) in the nuts, too, just for shits 'n giggles.

I don't really know what else to report on. Oh, wait, yes I do have something. Uncle Mitch was 3rd star tonight! Yay! Gotta love that guy.

And just to explain my title for this entry: I had to do a good ol' fashioned costume change between the performance (or lack thereof) and the game. I was wearing a LBD and had to change into my Spokanistan shirt and jeans. I've never change clothes that fast EVER. And to think, I did it all for a bunch of hockey players. Go figure. lol :)

Happy St. Patricks Day! :)

Monday, March 16, 2009

Places to see, people to do.

I was out-and-about con mi amiga this afternoon and found these shot glasses. I pretty much had to laugh my ass off. I forgot to get pics, but there were also some shot glasses that said "I &hearts Jesus." haha Goooo figure.

Yeah, don't drink, kids. It's bad for ya.

Anyway, I think I'm going to the Friday ploff game. Pretty much excited. Gonna bring one of my friends along for her first hockey game EVAR, too. YAY!

Um, so I'm seriously considering trying out to sing the anthems (Canadian and US) for a game or something for next season (it's probably too late for anything this season). "Dave Schultz" introduced the idea to me. I dunno, though. It may require copious amounts of alcohol and proverbial balls on my part. It would be nice to do something new-slash-different. Could be fun. But I'm still kickin' that idea around...

Tomorrow night is the makeup game against the Spokanistan Queefs (thanks to Kimberly for the ticket!!). Originally, I couldn't go because of recording, but as luck would have it, half of the Queefs gots teh foodz poisoning and pussed out and postponed the game to a night where I could go. YAY! (Note: I'm not exactly stoked that they are sick, but just the fact that the date changed makes me happy. C'mon, I'm not that mean!)

I also have a performance tomorrow night (well, technically tonight) which happens to start at 7:30 PM. Coincidentally, the hockey game starts at 7:05 PM. Eff. But I have a plan. And I'll make it to the game. I should be golden. Gonna sit with a whole new group of people and I'm STOKED! I love meeting new people! :)

BTW, have I ever mentioned how much I love our team??

And FYI, we won the game last night. Plouffy is injured (NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Spencer totally checked a Coug from behind (this may or may not be taken in a horrible way) and accidentally kinda fucked him up. Behbeh is now suspied (ohh you hockey players and your nonsensical words). Not sure what exactly is wrong with the Coug dude, but if you're laying on the ice, writhing in pain for like 5 minutes, I'm gonna assume the sitch isn't good. So Spencer... my darling, sweet, dimpled, little Spencer... please be careful. I hate seeing you not play. But, I'm not gonna lie, I like seeing you in a suit, too. But that's another blog for another day. So yeah. Please be careful. :)

On a sidenote, Jimmy Fallon's late night show SUCKS. I'm sorry, baby. You're just not funny. You try waaaaay too hard. You're awkward. Oh, and you're NOT Conan, so quit trying to take on his little quirks and whatnot. It doesn't work. :(

And on another sidenote, I just wanna say "hey, thank you! you're awesome and you kick large amounts of hind-end!" to those who follow my blog and anyone else who happens to stumble upon my incessant ramblings published for all to see. Seriously, I'm surprised even one person wants to read this shit. lol So, thanks! :) I'm gonna go eat cupcake now to celebrate. lol

Friday, March 13, 2009

Seriously. Seeeeriously.

Sooooo I pretty much feel the love.

Yessum, I'm feelin' it.

First, mi madre made the trek to see me tonight.

Then, Merrick brought me FLOWERS after the performance (awww!!)!

THEN, I get home at 1 AM, go brush my teeth, and as I open the cabinet door, I see a piece of paper with my name on it. It was a little note from my roomie telling me I did awesome and good luck on my interview tomorrow! Could I ask for a better bestie/roomie? I think not. :)

Seriously.

I smiled so fucking much this evening, my mouth hurts. It hurts so good! Thanks everyone!! <3

Got the car back today. Yeah, it shit the bed yesterday when I was LITERALLY three blocks away from my house. Go fuckin' figure. But I got Julia (my car's name.. yeah, I named her) this evening, so life can resume.

Recording today and tomorrow. GAH. I will more than likely miss tonight's game (Ams @ Spokanistan) so I'm pretty much pissed. I believe I will be in the clear for Saturday's game (Spokanistan @ Ams), but I can't go. I can only watch! BOOOOOO.

Oh, and I have an interview this afternoon. Keeping my appendages crossed.

Went to the team signing yesterday with "Dave Schultz" and Shari. Went to Fiesta (best be jealous) then hit up the signing. Didn't get anything signed. Mainly because I find it kinda odd to ask a bunch of 16-20 year old boys to sign their name on a poster. I just wanted the poster. lol

And saw some of our players when I went to lunch today with some besties. They are pretty much A-FUCKING-DORABLE. lol

That's all. :) I'll blog from recording tomorrow or some shit.

Oh, and sorry if this post is a bit scatterbrained and whatnot. It's like 3 AM. I'm tired. But felt the urge to blog. :)

Sunday, March 8, 2009

Move over, Betty Crocker- there's a new kitchen bitch in town.

As some of you may know, I made some cupcakes the other night. Slaved over a hot oven and baked me some cuppies. Oh, and I watched the Ams play Seattle and Liveblogged at the same time. Multitasking? I gots it.

I didn't want to just slather those puppies with frosting and call it "good" because face it- it's not good. You gotta decorate.

So I decided to adorn my newborn cupcakes with red and blue and hockey goodness.

I shanked like 6 cupcakes, too. But you won't see those. :)

I'm gonna warn you- they look like shit. But then again, I'm not a Costco cake decorator, so you shouldn't have had any expectations. bwahahahahahahaaaaaa

Here's the cupcake army. I put the last names of all the boys on 'em. Like I said in a previous post, some of those last names are killer. I couldn't fit them on a cupcake. GAH. So I had to resort to using nicknames. But I love them all equally. :)

Ohhh, I wuv this team.

This one is for "Dave Schultz". Sorry I kinda shanked the writing, but for reals, it was the best my tired little hand could do. lol

I had to do this. I tried to fit "Spokanistan" on a cupcake, but that was a FAIL. Some of you have already seen this on my Facebook. :)

I have some more pics of the cuppies upclose-and-personal, but I don't really feel like putting those up at the moment. I'll probably come back and edit this post later and pop those suckers in here, though.

So there ya go. I made cupcakes. I would totally give them to the team, but not too long ago, "Dave Schultz" tried to give the team waffle cookies, and somehow, the cookies were lost between the hands of the team trainer and the guys. I don't wanna risk it. :)

Not sure if you got the memo, but NASCAR isn't a sport.

Ams lost last night and Boston lost today.

BAH-FREAKIN'-HUMBUG.

And I'm being subjected to NASCAR right now. Well, "right now" being the next 2 hours. UGH. I'm sorry, but sitting your happy ass in a car that goes over 150 MPH and driving it around in circles isn't a sport; it's glorified speeding. So if I hear someone say "I love sports like NASCAR, underwater basketweaving, etc." I may have to shank someone. Oh, and it's the most commercialized, corporate bullshit I've ever seen. How many fucking logos can they stick on one car?! GAAAAH.

I've had to listen to my roommate gush about some guy who passed a kidney stone or some shit over the weekend and decided to bite the bullet and race.

"Wow, he's doing really good for someone who is passing a kidney stone!"

First off, the motherfucker isn't running laps or anything, so chill the fuck out. He's sitting in a car. Driving. WOOOOWWWW. Secondly, I'm sure his stone has passed, so the pain is gone (I should know, I've passed one before). So quit making him sound like a fuckin' hero. And lastly, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT.

500 miles of this. FML.

Saturday, March 7, 2009

Oh, snap. :)

Spokant just sent me a little comment on Facebook regarding my status (of course, it's team-related). Made me laugh. haha

My status is "Dear boys: why? Love always, Me."

Spokant's response?

"Dear Millicent,

We lost on purpose so Spokanistan would have to play Seattle instead of Kamloops in the playoffs. Seriously, it was our plan all along. No joke. Fur realz.

Love always,
The Boys

(not really, it was me, Sara)"

lol

Ohhh, I loves it. I'll admit, I'm being a little too intense about this little loss for our boys. I mean, they DID just win the division title. AND they are 16-20 year old boys. AND they probably are a bit excited about life at the moment. AND we should probably do anything (within reason) to make sure Spokanistan struggles, SO I'm sure the second game against a hungry team of T-birds wasn't a huge deal to them. Jussayin'. :) And my team is AWESOME, so I'm sure this was all thoughtfully planned. Or I'm hoping it was. lol

Oh, I hart mah hockee frendz.

And good luck to the hockee frendz who are fiercly working on those scrapbooks for the team... I bet they look great! :) And don't get too many papercuts.

Oops, better change the sheets: they shit the bed.

Um, yeah. We lost tonight.

6-to-muthafuckin'-0. T-birds.

As "Dave Schultz" said:

"Yesterday division winners, today shit the bed."

Yes, we did have a crapton of people missing- Toll, Kruise, Petr, Mason, Chet and my suspended Hockey Hubby (why, bbi, why?!). Oh, and coach was suspended, too. While we are on the topic of suspensions: Stop fighting, boys. As hawt as it may be, you eventually pay a price. Jussayin'. We did have some behbeh Ams tonight- Yuen and Humps. WOOHOO!! We were all pretty stoked about that. :) Marty started, but we later got Ows in the there (aww, go bbi!!).

Not a whole lot to say about the game. We didn't do much. Asuchak ran over Hickey (mwahahahahaha). I laughed.

But, hey, we're still U.S. division champs, right?? Riiiight????!! Ohhh, science.

I also made some cupcakes last night. Decorated them in support of my hockey hunks. It was also a BITCH to write some of their last names on a 2 1/2" wide cupcake. Apparently some last names weren't meant to be put on cupcakes?? I keed, I keed. I had to use nicknames on some. Then I attempted the real thing on some. I may or may not have carpal tunnel after all that decorating. But I will get some pics up later tonight or tomorrow. :) My roommate was impressed with my domestic diva-ness. lol But we won't talk about the 6 shanked cupcakes either...

More later. :)

My, oh, my... The team did it AGAIN!!

U.S. DIVISION CHAMPIONS

That's right, my sweet chinchillas, the Tri-City Americans are the 2009 U.S. Division champs- again! Congrats, boys!! You deserve it. :)

Behbehs beat Seattle tonight 4-2. Luckily, I was able to watch the game on WHL TV (thanks!!). Baby goalie Marty got 1st star!! WOOHOO!!!!! GREAT JOB! He totally kicked ass. Played the entire game and made 27 saves out of 29 shots. Fierce saves, BTW. He was great. So fucking excited for him.

My Hockey Hubby didn't make any goals, but he got 15 minutes in the PB! WOO! Go bbi. Game misconduct and major fighting. Aww. It was so hot to see him fight. RAWR. haha Werbs (shocker) and Uncle Mitch (who also had an assist on a Hughesman goal... yay!) had to serve some time in the box for fighting as well. Le sigh. I got a bunch of hot little warriors on my team. I love it!

Spencer (a.k.a. CUTEST EFFIN' DIMPLES EVAAAAR) got a goal, too!! Assisted by Sutherland and Shinny (oh gosh, I love that boy). AWESOME! I was pretty stoked for him.

Chet is still out (obviously) and he was here in the Tri resting up. His little broseph was the goalie for Seattle tonight, so everytime they said Pickard, I got a little confused. Dammit.

In other fantastic news, Spokanistan LOST to Prince George tonight. Gotta love it. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, bitches.

Ams play again tomorrow night against... Seattle. Again.

Ahhh, so I pretty much love this team. I'm so proud of them and I'm so fuckin' excited for them. Another banner, boys! GREAT JOB! You're the cutest, classiest, most talented group of 16-20 years olds EVER. lol I love it.

Anyway, just thought I'd post that before i pass out. :)

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

Awww. :(

My poor little hockey hunks lost tonight.

6-2 'Couv.

I'm too Negative Nancy tonight to really get into any detail on the game except for Hot Lips Feser being the only plus player tonight. Praise baby Jesus! He put a point up on the board for us. :) Plouffe scored a goal as well during the 2nd and my Hockey Hubby got in on that with an assist, as did Shinniman (my other wannabe Hockey Hubby). As Paris Hilton would say, "That's hot."

Still played good despite missing many key players (i.e. Chet, Uncle Mitch, Petr... pretty much everyone who scratched).

We can pull through this, though. Got faith in my favorite group of 16-20 year olds. They are in Seattle for two games this weekend. Go get 'em, behbehs!

Oh, and Spokanistan lost tonight. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Kelowna brought it tonight and won it 4-1. Nice.

More later, or something. :)

Tuesday, March 3, 2009

"Does Wayne Brady need to choke a bitch?"

It rained like non-fucking-stop today. What gives, weather?? I'm sick of this crap. Please stop.

Dear singers, quit modulating the Lauridsen piece we're doing. I mean, if you're gonna do it, do it right and make sure everyone knows. BUT, we AREN'T modulating SHIT, so STOP IT. It's called "getting the pitches right, bitches." DO IT.

Oh, and if you're a soprano, quit singing nasally. I swear, I will gouge out your vocal cords if you think going completely nasal for those high notes is helping you- it's not. FAIL. Learn to sing, will ya?!

So I've got those gripes out of the way.

Mikaela gave me the link to the Coach Sauter interview. Check that shit here. He's delusional. Yeah a non-intentional "bump" doesn't knock out a goalie. Assbag.

On a good note, our very own Mitch Fadden is the WHL Player of the Week. He's just been phenomenal this season. So awesome. But I'm sure he knows he's amazing since talking with "Dave Schultz" during the post-game skate the other night. lol ;) Gotta love it.

I don't really have anything to say at this point. Kinda stressed out right now. I need sleep.

Zzzzzzz.

"Ladies, can't we all just fuck off?"

LAWLZ!

Had a GREAT time at the Ams/Winter Hawks game! Nice little group of us sitting together. Lots of fucking off. Had a guest as well! His name is James and he is currently touring through all the west coast hockey teams and tonight was his night in Tri-Town. Read his blog here. Actually, he is the proud creator of this blog title and I thought I'd lift it for tonight's entry. :) He was lucky enough to sit with our little group of sexiness. haha

Got to go to my first post-game skate with the team. Of course, my luck, it's the last one of the year. :( Got some pics with a few players and whatnot. I should have gone out and skated, but honestly, I've only skate like twice in my life (once like last year, but I use to KILL at rollerblading when I was a behbeh. haha) and I suck shit. haha I still should have. I'll work on it this summer or something. :) But, gosh, it would have been a great excuse to have my Hockey Husband hold my hand and drag me all over that ice... (drools) Okay, I need to stop.

So, we won 5-3. Hughesman had 2 goals for the night- awesome. Jason, Shinny, and Fadden also put one down in the books as well. Woohoo! Boys on a definite roll. But the fucking Winter Hawks were "Winter Hawking it" and made the game go on FOREVER (that's what it felt like). Joel Ridgeway (former Americans player) is totally rockin' the Rapunzel locks, and I'm not gonna lie- I love it. Martyniuk started tonight because Chet is out (duh) with some sort of injury (have yet to hear what he has going on). Other behbeh goalie, Owsley, was backup tonight. He looked fucking ADORABLE. haha Poor thing hasn't been able to get in his uni for like a month, I swear. :( He didn't seen any playing time, though. Your time will come, behbeh. But Marty played well tonight; I am superduper happy for him. Keep it up! He might want to consider getting a kickass paint job on that goalie mask of his, though. Y'know, spice it up, babycakes. :) You deserve it!!

Overall, tonight was awesome! I'm just getting that sinking heart/pit-in-your-stomach feeling because the season is quickly coming to an end. :( Hoping to snag season tickets for next year. I'm hopelessly addicted to this great team (yeah, that sounds kinda creepy) and totally thankful for all the AWESOME people I've met because of it. :) I mean, I may actually forego transferring out for the rest of my Bachelors degree just so I can stay here for my hockey team. I'm totally serious. lol

Had a nice time with the broseph this weekend and miss him already; he's a great kid. Tired, though. We stayed up till the wee hours of the morning hanging out. Mainly because I was pretty wound up from the Spokanistan game.

Dear Spokane Chiefs,

I just wanna say you guys really accentuated your douche-baggery tonight.

Mmhmm.

Just because we own you on home ice... in front of a sold-out-crowd (10,538 in attendance)... *ahem* doesn't mean sportsmanship and general sense goes down the fucking drain.

I'm not gonna say much anymore because, really- what more can I say?

Well, I guess I can say "fuck off."

Yeah.

You guys can fuck right off... right now.

No love,

Millicent

Ams @ Spokanistan.

5-2 Ams final.

One of the most physical games I've ever seen. INSANE.

Also, wore my Spokanistan shirt. Schmexy, baby.

Chet got knocked out 2nd period. Some Spokanistan pissant got mad because Chet caught a shot in his glove... then decided to beat the fuck out of poor Chet. I shit you not, he was knocked the fuck out. Laid out, not really moving. Poor baby! Had to leave the game right there. Not sure what's going on with him now; hopefully, it's not a concussion! Martyniuk stepped in and only allowed one goal toward the end of the night- good job, sweet thang!

After about a thousand fights, there were about 58 or so penalties total. A SHIT-TON. The official game report says we racked up 170 minutes in the PB and Spokane wound up with 172. Holy fucking shit. It was mentioned that maybe a few dirty Chiefs may be suspended. Here's to hoping they get what they deserve.

Texted "Dave Schultz", who made the trek up to Dirty Chief Country, throughout the game and said even some of the fans were being escorted out after the first few initial Ams/Chief fights. Crazy shit, son.

Tonight was Spokanistan's turn for pink ice. Praise baby Jesus, it wasn't that awful Pepto Bismol color. During an intermision, Comcast interviewed Kruise Reddick and asked him about the pink ice. He said "you can actually see the lines." hahaha Hmm... wonder what he was insinuating??

Wow.

I may have to come back tomorrow and describe a little more because there is SO much that happened (kinda). I can't really put it all together coherently right now. haha I'm too wound up (still)!

Went to the Ams/Chilliwack game on Wednesday with "Dave Schultz", Mikaela, and Cristal. Had a blast! Kind of a boring game, but our boys played well and won. Gotta love it. Our boys are on a great run right now. Tomorrow, Portland is in town. Going to that as well (woohoo, thanks again!), so I'm looking forward to that. I'm also trying to get a playoff package... never purchased one before, so I may need to enlist some help or something so I don't fuck it up.

And I'm happy to say that my broseph is currently sitting across the room from me. :) He's here to visit me for a day or two. I missed him!

Oh, and I just want to say, I fucking LOVE my Ams. Keep up the good work, behbehs. ;)
