I have no rhyme or reason to this post (or any of my posts for that matter). Sooooo...
The teams I am/was rooting for in the Stanley Cup playoffs (in Spanglish):
Blackhawks de Chicago (this team = ♥... my main team right now)
Canadiens de Montreal (now out... but lets not shit ourselves, we knew it wasn't gonna happen)
Capitals de Washington (hurry up and win this series, m'dearies.)
Hurricanes de Carolina (i can haz drayson bowman in a suit?)
Penguins de Pittsburgh
Canucks de Vancouver
Yaaaaaaaay NHL ploffs!
Random Rant:
Dear people of the male persuasion (well, no one in particular, just some),
Get over yourselves. I may think you're cute/hot/somewhat attractive/tolerable, but honestly, it doesn't mean shit. Doesn't mean I wanna screw your brains out, bear your future children, or even hang out with you and your bloated ego. Personality is the deal-breaker, behbehs. Weird, huh?
Random Rave:
I had a pint of gin and a pint of Malibu and didn't even know it! HALLELUJAH!

This is my obligatory sappy, emotastic, end-of-season post.
I haven't updated this in a while, but nobody cares because nobody reads it so no loss there. Well, okay, I lied. One person does. WOOHOO! :D
I believe I left off with our April 4th win against Kelowna on home ice... it was sweet. Up 2-0 in the series; the games were intense. But, 8 days have passed since and a lot happened.
April 7th @ Kelowna- L
April 8th @ Kelowna- L
April 10th @ home- L
and tonight...
April 12th @ Kelowna- L. Americans eliminated, Kelowna goes on. :(
Too many injuries, too many guys missing, too much of everything. But, lets not make any excuses.
The last game for Procyshen, Reese, Fadden, and Pickard (amongst other players who may not be coming back... *sobs*). I was only listening to the game, but I was told by people who were watching that Chet was crying after coach pulled him out to put Martyniuk in the net. Talk about heartbreaking.
So, I'm gonna deliver with this whole emotastic blog deal... and here it goes:
First off- Taylor Procyshen. Not only a great player, but an awesome guy in general. Total inspiration. Great captain. I couldn't have asked for a better guy to lead this team.
Jason Reese- Helloooo, difference maker! He did so much for the team. Love watching him play. Brought a lot of experience to the team and knowing that he started out here as a Jr. AM is pretty awesome. Reese came full circle here and I'm so glad to have been able to witness it!
Mitch Fadden- Our ("Dave"'s) little (big) redheaded stallion. You have no idea how thankful I am we got this guy during that midseason trade business. Behbeh really did "get 'er done, eh." Insane. Another difference maker, fo' sho.
Chet Pickard- Whatta man, whatta man. Great goalie. I can't imagine what we would have done without him! He had a great career here in Tri. I'm so stoked to see him go on to the next level. We'll most definitely miss this one.
This was the first season I was able to really get into because I lived close enough to go to the games (I've followed the AMS for years though) and whatnot. This team has a lot of heart and a lot of talent. The n00bs like Behbeh Yuen, Shinny FTW4EVER, and Messier (those are just a few) give me a great feeling about next season. I'm fucking jacked about next season! And with our 19-year-olds, who knows? McColm, Toll, Lazo, Stoklasa, Plouffe... Personally, if I had it my way, we wouldn't lose any of 'em, but the Dub says "fuck off, you can only have 3." Ugh. :(
*So, hockey behbehs... I know none of you will ever read this, but it makes me feel better to write this all out... It was a great season. No lie. We are sooo proud of you guys! You guys did fantastic and it was awesome to be able to witness it. So here's to next year: whether you'll be back here in TC, playing with another team in the Dub, in the AHL, in the NHL, in another league I didn't mention, or just done and moving on to the next phase of your life.* You guys deserve all the cuppies and cookies in the world!
And Hockee Frendz, I'm so thankful to have met you all!! You made this season even better! I had a blast and laughed harder with you all than I have with other people. We can't let the end of the season be the end of us hanging out! :) Love you all!!!! ♥♥
In other awesomeness, the NHL ploffs are coming up! So my hockey obsession won't be too starved after tonight. :) And my browser is decked out in a Montreal Canadiens theme. 'Cause I'm fucking fabulous like that. haha

Dear Friday, Hurry the hell up.
*This blog entry is a conglomeration of other blog drafts I had from the past four days. Bear with me.
FRIDAY CANNOT GET HERE FAST ENOUGH.
First game of the second round against Kelowna for my behbehs! Soooooo excited! It's gonna be a guaranteed good time. So you should come out and support the behbehs. :)
First off, I just wanna say I ♥ this team. Like mega♥ them. Agreeing with everyone else- the boys have been playing AMAZING lately. They've finally found a groove and it's working. With all the mothereffin' injuries the past few months, they were constantly forced to change things up and they weren't able to find the chemistry they needed and have it stick. But now, we've got most of our men back, with the exception of the Stoklasa, Plouffer, and Dimples trio, and we can finally achieve some sort of equilibrium. Of course, I'm definitely NOT saying we don't miss the Stoky-Fluffy-Dimples bunch (in terms of playing or just in general)... 'cause I know I do and I'm pretty sure you and your mom do, too. They need to eat healing cuppies and get extra hugs so they get better faster and play again. We miss them. We need them. Get better soon, behbehs!!
Anyway, the boys have been playing with everything they've got because, to be honest, Everett was one helluva team to play and they definitely made us work for our wins. I love it. It's good for the guys. Bad for me 'cause I nearly had a heart attack at some of those games, but we don't care about that. I ♥ this team.
Made cookies today (note: technically yesterday). Almond butter sugar cookies, recipe courtesy of "Dave Schultz". Awesome cookies, my dear friends. I may or may not have pics, though. I decorated some of them, but stopped 'cause my hand hurt. I'm kind of a wuss. But I used the fancyschmancy decorating tips with the frosting and schtuff. It's pretty sweet. I'll try to get more done tonight and take pics. :)
Friend texted me. "Come to Portland with me today." WTF. Um, sure, I'd love to go to Portland (haven't been there in FOREVER), but NOW?? Like, this right-this-second? The weather sucks! I've got work tomorrow! And the morning after that! Gah. Srsly? Are you people out of your minds? Maybe it's 'cause they all live at home and need to get away from mom and dad. I dunno. My reasons for not going are legit, so they can suck it.
Have you noticed I haven't dropped one f-bomb, s-bomb, a-bomb, or any-bomb throughout this whole entry???!!! Or at least I'm sure I didn't. I wanted to see if I could do one whole post without swearing like a sailor that just killed his favorite whore. I think I succeeded. Yay!

A night full of win.
My hockey team totally ate their Wheaties this morning! No joke.
6-1 Ams!
Right off the bat, one of my potential Hockey Husbands (seriously, I'm not a Hockey Husband whore, I just love my team), Mitch McColm, scored a goal about halfway through the first period. There is a reason why I write his name all over my notebook during class (I don't really, but you get my point)! It was sweet! I may have squealed like a little schoolgirl.
Original Hockey Husband also scored (not with me) in the third period. HOT. He is full of win and hot.
And you know what else totally kicks ass? The Messier-Shinny-Hot Lips combination. For real, pumpkins. That little trio of adorableness produced two goals. *le sigh* I was swoonin' like a 10-year-old front row at a New Kids On the Block concert. LA Gear high tops, slouch socks and all.
Cap'n Pro. We've been wondering where you've been for a while. A bunch of us hockee frendz agreed you were due. And baby, your ears musta been burning 'cause you had a goal AND an assist for the night.
Others who made me wanna dance in my seat:
Fadden with three assists!
Cap'n Pro and his "Go Pro MDA Challenge" and the shitload of money him and his compadres raised (AWESOME!!)
Behbeh Am Zach Yuen- I am SOOOOO STOKED about him! Cannot wait to see what happens next with this kid!
Heemskerk calling it a day
Chetter and his awesomeness, Messier getting FIRST STAR honors for the night (gooooo bbi goooo!!)
Others who made me wanna get my shank on:
Loud-mouthed asshole in section M- STFU. Quit banging on the glass. Quit yelling out "Dailey/Ellington, YOU SUUUUCK!!!" You lack sooo much class; go cheer on the Queefs or something because we don't need classless idiots like you at our games "cheering" on our team.
Father of the Year in the seats next to us- Your kid is cute, but holy hell, sit his ass down. It was annoying trying to dodge you son's head. And it was annoying listening to you "discipline" your son. Maybe if you put as much effort into your parenting as you do spiking your hair (I mean, really? Lay off the gel, dude.) you wouldn't have had to showcase your skills in douchebaggery. YOU, my dear, are a "nobody." Fuck off and get a babysitter next time. kthxbai
Sooooo...
BRING ON KELOWNA! Get 'em, boys. Keep working hard and play with everything you've got.

Places to see, people to do.

I was out-and-about con mi amiga this afternoon and found these shot glasses. I pretty much had to laugh my ass off. I forgot to get pics, but there were also some shot glasses that said "I &hearts Jesus." haha Goooo figure.
Yeah, don't drink, kids. It's bad for ya.
Anyway, I think I'm going to the Friday ploff game. Pretty much excited. Gonna bring one of my friends along for her first hockey game EVAR, too. YAY!
Um, so I'm seriously considering trying out to sing the anthems (Canadian and US) for a game or something for next season (it's probably too late for anything this season). "Dave Schultz" introduced the idea to me. I dunno, though. It may require copious amounts of alcohol and proverbial balls on my part. It would be nice to do something new-slash-different. Could be fun. But I'm still kickin' that idea around...
Tomorrow night is the makeup game against the Spokanistan Queefs (thanks to Kimberly for the ticket!!). Originally, I couldn't go because of recording, but as luck would have it, half of the Queefs gots teh foodz poisoning and pussed out and postponed the game to a night where I could go. YAY! (Note: I'm not exactly stoked that they are sick, but just the fact that the date changed makes me happy. C'mon, I'm not that mean!)
I also have a performance tomorrow night (well, technically tonight) which happens to start at 7:30 PM. Coincidentally, the hockey game starts at 7:05 PM. Eff. But I have a plan. And I'll make it to the game. I should be golden. Gonna sit with a whole new group of people and I'm STOKED! I love meeting new people! :)
BTW, have I ever mentioned how much I love our team??
And FYI, we won the game last night. Plouffy is injured (NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Spencer totally checked a Coug from behind (this may or may not be taken in a horrible way) and accidentally kinda fucked him up. Behbeh is now suspied (ohh you hockey players and your nonsensical words). Not sure what exactly is wrong with the Coug dude, but if you're laying on the ice, writhing in pain for like 5 minutes, I'm gonna assume the sitch isn't good. So Spencer... my darling, sweet, dimpled, little Spencer... please be careful. I hate seeing you not play. But, I'm not gonna lie, I like seeing you in a suit, too. But that's another blog for another day. So yeah. Please be careful. :)
On a sidenote, Jimmy Fallon's late night show SUCKS. I'm sorry, baby. You're just not funny. You try waaaaay too hard. You're awkward. Oh, and you're NOT Conan, so quit trying to take on his little quirks and whatnot. It doesn't work. :(
And on another sidenote, I just wanna say "hey, thank you! you're awesome and you kick large amounts of hind-end!" to those who follow my blog and anyone else who happens to stumble upon my incessant ramblings published for all to see. Seriously, I'm surprised even one person wants to read this shit. lol So, thanks! :) I'm gonna go eat cupcake now to celebrate. lol

Seriously. Seeeeriously.
Sooooo I pretty much feel the love.
Yessum, I'm feelin' it.
First, mi madre made the trek to see me tonight.
Then, Merrick brought me FLOWERS after the performance (awww!!)!
THEN, I get home at 1 AM, go brush my teeth, and as I open the cabinet door, I see a piece of paper with my name on it. It was a little note from my roomie telling me I did awesome and good luck on my interview tomorrow! Could I ask for a better bestie/roomie? I think not. :)
Seriously.
I smiled so fucking much this evening, my mouth hurts. It hurts so good! Thanks everyone!! <3
Got the car back today. Yeah, it shit the bed yesterday when I was LITERALLY three blocks away from my house. Go fuckin' figure. But I got Julia (my car's name.. yeah, I named her) this evening, so life can resume.
Recording today and tomorrow. GAH. I will more than likely miss tonight's game (Ams @ Spokanistan) so I'm pretty much pissed. I believe I will be in the clear for Saturday's game (Spokanistan @ Ams), but I can't go. I can only watch! BOOOOOO.
Oh, and I have an interview this afternoon. Keeping my appendages crossed.
Went to the team signing yesterday with "Dave Schultz" and Shari. Went to Fiesta (best be jealous) then hit up the signing. Didn't get anything signed. Mainly because I find it kinda odd to ask a bunch of 16-20 year old boys to sign their name on a poster. I just wanted the poster. lol
And saw some of our players when I went to lunch today with some besties. They are pretty much A-FUCKING-DORABLE. lol
That's all. :) I'll blog from recording tomorrow or some shit.
Oh, and sorry if this post is a bit scatterbrained and whatnot. It's like 3 AM. I'm tired. But felt the urge to blog. :)

Oh, snap. :)
Spokant just sent me a little comment on Facebook regarding my status (of course, it's team-related). Made me laugh. haha
My status is "Dear boys: why? Love always, Me."
Spokant's response?
"Dear Millicent,
We lost on purpose so Spokanistan would have to play Seattle instead of Kamloops in the playoffs. Seriously, it was our plan all along. No joke. Fur realz.
Love always,
The Boys
(not really, it was me, Sara)"
lol
Ohhh, I loves it. I'll admit, I'm being a little too intense about this little loss for our boys. I mean, they DID just win the division title. AND they are 16-20 year old boys. AND they probably are a bit excited about life at the moment. AND we should probably do anything (within reason) to make sure Spokanistan struggles, SO I'm sure the second game against a hungry team of T-birds wasn't a huge deal to them. Jussayin'. :) And my team is AWESOME, so I'm sure this was all thoughtfully planned. Or I'm hoping it was. lol
Oh, I hart mah hockee frendz.
And good luck to the hockee frendz who are fiercly working on those scrapbooks for the team... I bet they look great! :) And don't get too many papercuts.

My, oh, my... The team did it AGAIN!!
U.S. DIVISION CHAMPIONS
That's right, my sweet chinchillas, the Tri-City Americans are the 2009 U.S. Division champs- again! Congrats, boys!! You deserve it. :)
Behbehs beat Seattle tonight 4-2. Luckily, I was able to watch the game on WHL TV (thanks!!). Baby goalie Marty got 1st star!! WOOHOO!!!!! GREAT JOB! He totally kicked ass. Played the entire game and made 27 saves out of 29 shots. Fierce saves, BTW. He was great. So fucking excited for him.
My Hockey Hubby didn't make any goals, but he got 15 minutes in the PB! WOO! Go bbi. Game misconduct and major fighting. Aww. It was so hot to see him fight. RAWR. haha Werbs (shocker) and Uncle Mitch (who also had an assist on a Hughesman goal... yay!) had to serve some time in the box for fighting as well. Le sigh. I got a bunch of hot little warriors on my team. I love it!
Spencer (a.k.a. CUTEST EFFIN' DIMPLES EVAAAAR) got a goal, too!! Assisted by Sutherland and Shinny (oh gosh, I love that boy). AWESOME! I was pretty stoked for him.
Chet is still out (obviously) and he was here in the Tri resting up. His little broseph was the goalie for Seattle tonight, so everytime they said Pickard, I got a little confused. Dammit.
In other fantastic news, Spokanistan LOST to Prince George tonight. Gotta love it. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, bitches.
Ams play again tomorrow night against... Seattle. Again.
Ahhh, so I pretty much love this team. I'm so proud of them and I'm so fuckin' excited for them. Another banner, boys! GREAT JOB! You're the cutest, classiest, most talented group of 16-20 years olds EVER. lol I love it.
Anyway, just thought I'd post that before i pass out. :)

"Does Wayne Brady need to choke a bitch?"
It rained like non-fucking-stop today. What gives, weather?? I'm sick of this crap. Please stop.
Dear singers, quit modulating the Lauridsen piece we're doing. I mean, if you're gonna do it, do it right and make sure everyone knows. BUT, we AREN'T modulating SHIT, so STOP IT. It's called "getting the pitches right, bitches." DO IT.
Oh, and if you're a soprano, quit singing nasally. I swear, I will gouge out your vocal cords if you think going completely nasal for those high notes is helping you- it's not. FAIL. Learn to sing, will ya?!
So I've got those gripes out of the way.
Mikaela gave me the link to the Coach Sauter interview. Check that shit here. He's delusional. Yeah a non-intentional "bump" doesn't knock out a goalie. Assbag.
On a good note, our very own Mitch Fadden is the WHL Player of the Week. He's just been phenomenal this season. So awesome. But I'm sure he knows he's amazing since talking with "Dave Schultz" during the post-game skate the other night. lol ;) Gotta love it.
I don't really have anything to say at this point. Kinda stressed out right now. I need sleep.
Zzzzzzz.

"Ladies, can't we all just fuck off?"
LAWLZ!
Had a GREAT time at the Ams/Winter Hawks game! Nice little group of us sitting together. Lots of fucking off. Had a guest as well! His name is James and he is currently touring through all the west coast hockey teams and tonight was his night in Tri-Town. Read his blog here. Actually, he is the proud creator of this blog title and I thought I'd lift it for tonight's entry. :) He was lucky enough to sit with our little group of sexiness. haha
Got to go to my first post-game skate with the team. Of course, my luck, it's the last one of the year. :( Got some pics with a few players and whatnot. I should have gone out and skated, but honestly, I've only skate like twice in my life (once like last year, but I use to KILL at rollerblading when I was a behbeh. haha) and I suck shit. haha I still should have. I'll work on it this summer or something. :) But, gosh, it would have been a great excuse to have my Hockey Husband hold my hand and drag me all over that ice... (drools) Okay, I need to stop.
So, we won 5-3. Hughesman had 2 goals for the night- awesome. Jason, Shinny, and Fadden also put one down in the books as well. Woohoo! Boys on a definite roll. But the fucking Winter Hawks were "Winter Hawking it" and made the game go on FOREVER (that's what it felt like). Joel Ridgeway (former Americans player) is totally rockin' the Rapunzel locks, and I'm not gonna lie- I love it. Martyniuk started tonight because Chet is out (duh) with some sort of injury (have yet to hear what he has going on). Other behbeh goalie, Owsley, was backup tonight. He looked fucking ADORABLE. haha Poor thing hasn't been able to get in his uni for like a month, I swear. :( He didn't seen any playing time, though. Your time will come, behbeh. But Marty played well tonight; I am superduper happy for him. Keep it up! He might want to consider getting a kickass paint job on that goalie mask of his, though. Y'know, spice it up, babycakes. :) You deserve it!!
Overall, tonight was awesome! I'm just getting that sinking heart/pit-in-your-stomach feeling because the season is quickly coming to an end. :( Hoping to snag season tickets for next year. I'm hopelessly addicted to this great team (yeah, that sounds kinda creepy) and totally thankful for all the AWESOME people I've met because of it. :) I mean, I may actually forego transferring out for the rest of my Bachelors degree just so I can stay here for my hockey team. I'm totally serious. lol
Had a nice time with the broseph this weekend and miss him already; he's a great kid. Tired, though. We stayed up till the wee hours of the morning hanging out. Mainly because I was pretty wound up from the Spokanistan game.
